Tread Lightly:
Responsible Travel

We believe in travel that preserves the wild. Learn how we minimize waste, respect local cultures, and empower mountain communities.

Our Responsible
Travel Pillars

Conservation is at the heart of everything we do. We align our operations around three core eco-commitments.

Leave No Trace

We operate zero-waste base camps. Every wrapper, bottle, and waste item brought to the trail must be brought back down.

Empower Local Economy

We hire local mountain guides, cooks, and porters, and procure organic camp rations directly from village homestays.

Protect Ecosystems

No feeding wildlife, disturbing flora, or picking alpine flowers. We respect natural habitats to protect local biodiversity.

Trekker Code of Conduct

Help us keep the trails pristine by following this simple code of conduct during your journey.

Waste & Plastics

  • Carry a personal pocket-trash pouch for wrappers and tissues.
  • Use reusable water flasks instead of single-use PET bottles.
  • Participate in camp garbage segregation and cleanup drills.

Cultural Sensitivity

  • Dress modestly when passing through rural villages or temples.
  • Ask permission before photographing residents or private houses.
  • Support local craftsmen by purchasing regional handmade products.

Water & Campsite

  • Conserve water; supply is limited at high-altitude dry camps.
  • Use biodegradable toilet toiletries and avoid stream pollution.
  • Stick strictly to pre-defined campfire pitches and camp zones.

Our Green Initiatives

Every step counts. Here is how we give back to the environments that sustain our adventures.

  • 1 Booking = 1 Tree: We plant a native tree in Maharashtra for every trekker who books with us.
  • Zero Single-Use Plastic: Kitchen tents use reusable tableware and biodegradable packaging.
  • Porters Fair Policy: We strictly adhere to load limit guidelines and fair wages for porters.
  • Solar Power Camps: Minimal generator usage; camp lights are fully solar-powered.
